System for mortality analysis:  Factual Automated Information Reference System (FAIRS) "Potential" (with N.S. Gavrilova and S.P.Ermakov) provides analyses of mortality trends and differentials using cause-specific and region-specific Russian official vital statistics. Certified in 1996 by the Committee for Information Policy at Russian President (Registration Certificate #602 of October 1, 1996). Used in computing demographic indicators for the special issue of Vital and Health Statistics by the National Center of Health Statistics (Vital and Health Statistics: Russian Federation and United States, Selected Years 1980-93, Series 5, No.9, 1995).
